WASHINGTON (Web Desk) - At the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, actor-singer Zendaya won award for “Euphoria” as the Best Actress in the series. Along with Christine Baranski for “The Good Fight,” Sharon Horgan for “Bad Sisters,” Laura Linney for “Ozark,” Mandy Moore for “This Is Us,” and Kelly Reilly for “Yellowstone,” as nominees.

The Critics’ Choice Awards’ Twitter account posted the following tweet: “The #CriticsChoice Award for Best Actress in the series has been given to @Zendaya. #CriticsChoiceAwards #EuphoriaHBO.”

Two Emmy Awards have already been won by Zendaya for her portrayal of “Rue” in “Euphoria” (2020, 2022).

She made history in 2020 by winning the award for lead actress in a season at the age of 24 and became the only second Black woman in history to do so, behind Viola Davis for “How to Get Away With Murder.”

The Israeli series of the same name served as the inspiration for the American teen drama television programme Euphoria. Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin created it.
